Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Location is excellent - right in the heart of town near the port. Easy access to supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment is spacious, big enough to accommodate a larger group. The lift makes getting up to the 3rd floor pretty easy.

Negative: The apartment was not cleaned properly before arrival. The dust was swept into a pile in the living room and just left there - along with a dead cockroach that we felt we had to collect and throw out for our own sanity. The host was difficult to talk to, as we were trying to organize keeping our suitcases in the room past checkout time. They said this request was ok at first, for a fee, but upon further messaging it became clear there was a language barrier between us and the host and the host would continuously ask us to clarify our question. In the end after a lot of back and forth we couldn't actually organise this to happen. The state of the room needs to be addressed. This was our last stop in a month of travelling in Europe and the room was easily the most dilapidated. The apartment is in quite dire need of renovations. Plumbing fixtures are half broken, there's no ventilation in the bathroom, door handles are in a bad state, the toilet seat is only half attached and moves around. The apartment is very noisy due to the noise on the street. We had to wear earplugs to block out the noise otherwise there's no way we could've slept through the night without being woken up. The freezer was totally filled with ice and needs to be defrosted. The wifi didn't work at all - it would allow you to connect but the speed was non-existent. The host was informed of the wifi problems but couldn't help.

Summary: Plenty of space but not worth the price
