Positive: Absolutely perfect on all fronts for our needs. Excellent property in idyllic location. You must have a car as the property is located in a very peaceful corner of the most lovely & genuinely pure Agro Romano countryside. Perfect for reaching Rome, and also close to the main International Airport of FCO. There is an abundance of amazing attractions in the vicinity, from the unique Torre in Pietra Castle to Bracciano Lake & Castle, not to mention Ostia Antica Archaelogical site & Castle in medieval village, Trevignano Romano, Anguillara, the Etruscan Necropolises of Cerveteri & Tarquinia and many more historical sites & museums of unparalleled importance, e.g. Cerveteri museum is also very interesting. Astonishing quality of restaurants nearby, from Osteria dell' Elefante (a unique restaurant literally carved under the Torre in Pietra Castle serving the most amazing organic cuisine & wines from their own vineyards) to the Osteria di Maccarese ( also here the selection & quality of food are amazing, the wine offer is of high level here). For pizza lovers ( our kids!) there is a high number of top quality pizzerias: TIP is only 5 mins away, but I also suggest Il Fienile & Maccare'. All within a few minutes radius by car. To be honest, if you rent a car and you love an idyllic location close to amazing historical attractions and top quality restaurants offering genuine Italian food, then this property is pretty much unbeatable. It is not in a touristic area and this makes a huge positive difference vs Rome. As a British/Italian I have really appreciated the genuine quality of the food and the very friendly people.
