Summary: Damien is by far the most gracious host of all the rental properties we have stayed in. Communication was quick and reliable. Coming from Chicago, he alleviated all the stress of traveling to a foreign country with 2 families (4 adults, 6 kids ages 4-15) and made us feel extremely welcomed. The property is accurate to the listing, very clean, and well stocked to cook meals. We appreciated the detailed house guide to answer questions from where to get groceries, local places to visit and anything needed for the Mill and Farmhouse. We used his beautiful property as a base camp for 4 days to visit the region of Normandie. We did a day trip to Paris, Mont Saint Michel, Honefluer, and Cormeilles-Bunsel distillery. It was wonderful to come back to the property and relax with a glass of wine and have so many things for the kids to do. We gathered at the Mill nightly which has plenty of cozy spaces for families to gather (inside and out) and ample tables/seating to eat. It is very evident that great pride is taken in the property. We applaud Damien for the restoration and preservation of the history of the Mill and Farmhouse while keeping the harmony of Nature and the Village in mind. The Mill and Farmhouse are both charming and modern.
