Positive: The apartment was in an excellent location, right in the centre of the old town in an old historic mansion. The view from the huge balcony out over the rooftops is superb and we had swifts and swallow performing acrobatics in front of us. Although the bedroom was above a busy shopping street, the double glazing and air conditioning meant that it was really quiet at night. The kitchen area was well-equipped sufficient to prepare a simple meal and we had a big dining table inside, as well as one on the balcony, which is where we ate our meals. The bed was really comfortable and there was a very good sofa in the lounge area. The decor in the lounge was excellent with plenty of lighting in all areas and felt very comfortable.

Negative: Do be aware that it is quite a hike up the stairs to the top of the building and would not suit anyone with mobility issues. I thought that the really high standard of decor was let down by the toilet and bathroom, which were quite basic in comparison. The skirting boards and windows in the bedrooms could also have done with a clean. We also had an issue with the decor panel on the fridge door, which became detached from the front of the fridge, which made opening the fridge a bit of a challenge, but we coped. However, none of these issues would stop us from staying here again, we loved it.
